Duties

  • Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
  • Support children’s social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and respectful communication
  • Conduct assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss developmental milestones, behavior, and learning goals
  • Incorporate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support diverse learning needs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes child welfare and toddler care best practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with classroom experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies
  • Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education
  • Experience with classroom management tools and techniques to foster a productive learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
  • Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or Montessori methods is highly desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team dedicated to child welfare and holistic development
