Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental stages, including toddler care and early intervention strategies.
- Foster strong communication with children to support language development and social skills through interactive activities and storytelling.
- Manage classroom routines effectively while maintaining high standards of childcare and classroom management.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss progress, address concerns, and promote child welfare initiatives.
- Incorporate standardized testing where appropriate to assess developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Support children’s physical well-being by teaching physical education activities and promoting healthy habits.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with preschool-aged children in daycare or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development that includes literacy education, math instruction, and Montessori methods is advantageous.
- Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and tutoring strategies for young learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Knowledge of classroom management tools and techniques to create a positive learning environment.
