Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that incorporate early intervention strategies, Montessori principles, and classroom management techniques to support diverse learning needs.
- Plan and execute engaging lesson plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages positive behavior management and child welfare.
- Utilize classroom experience and childcare expertise to monitor and support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians through clear communication skills to share progress updates and discuss individual needs.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently, ensuring a safe space for toddlers and preschoolers while maintaining high standards of childcare.
- Incorporate standardized testing methods where appropriate to assess developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
Experience
- Prior preschool experience or daycare work demonstrating strong classroom management and teaching physical education skills.
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, special education needs, early childhood education best practices, and early intervention techniques.
- Experience working with children in private school settings or daycare environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring strategies, and Montessori or similar educational approaches.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Demonstrated ability to implement behavior management strategies that promote positive social interactions.
- Background in teaching literacy education, math concepts, or physical education at the preschool level is highly desirable.
