Preschool Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for implementing engaging lesson plans that align with developmental milestones while fostering a love for learning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
  • Create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and physical education.
  • Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide individualized support to children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to promote child welfare.
  • Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to guide children's behavior effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschoolers.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
  • Knowledge of tutoring techniques and individualized instruction methods.
  • Experience in teaching physical education or integrating movement into the curriculum is beneficial.
  • Background in special education is advantageous for supporting diverse learners.

Hours: Mon- Fri - 8:30 - 5:30
