Preschool Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, implementing curriculum, and supporting the developmental needs of children aged 3 to 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes literacy, math, and physical education.
• Create lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages.
• Manage classroom activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
• Provide individualized support for children with special needs through early intervention strategies.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
• Monitor and assess student progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning.
• Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions among students.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.

Skills

• Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored for preschool-aged children.
• Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, private schools, or special education environments.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques to create an effective learning atmosphere.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff members.
• Ability to implement tutoring strategies that support literacy education and math skills.
• Familiarity with Montessori methods or similar educational philosophies is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time
