Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated PreschoolTeacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of children ages 3-5 years old. Your primary goal will be to foster growth, curiosity, and emotional security in our youngest learners through engaging activities, thoughtful lesson planning, and compassionate caregiving. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while working alongside a team committed to excellence in childcare and education.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development, literacy, and social-emotional skills for preschool ages.
  • Provide attentive care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support at all times.
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and responsive environment for infants
  • Maintain active supervision at all times
  • Engage with preschool through age-appropriate activities that support development
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s day
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the classroom
  • Follow all Bright from the Start (DECAL) rules and regulations

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must pass a background check (CRC required)
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience working with infants preferred
  • Patient, nurturing, and attentive
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Follow daily schedules including feeding, diapering, and nap routines

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management for early childhood education.
  • Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
  • Familiarity with childcare standards, child welfare practices, and classroom experience in a licensed setting is essential.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching physical education within early childhood programs will be advantageous. Join us to inspire young minds during their most formative years! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $8.00 - $14.00 per hour
