Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate, play-based lessons and activities that align with the Wisconsin Model of Early Learning Standards (WMELS)
• Foster a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children.
• Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to ensure a productive learning atmosphere.
• Support children’s emotional well-being by applying early intervention strategies and understanding childhood development milestones.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and promote child well being through regular updates and meetings.

Requirements

• Good communication skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively with team teacher to plan classroom activities
• Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings a plus!

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
