Learning Brooke is seeking a thoughtful, collaborative Educator to join our team. In this role, you’ll work closely with co-teachers, the Pedagogy Coordinator, and staff to observe, interpret, and extend children’s learning through an emergent curriculum inspired by the Reggio-Emelia philosophy.
This position is full time, full year, and full benefits are offered after the initial 90 day probationary period.
Engage with Children
- Build respectful, meaningful relationships through play, research, and inquiry
- Facilitate small group work and community meetings in the classroom and outdoors
- Support social-emotional growth using positive discipline and conflict resolution strategies
Create an Inspiring Environment
- Design indoor and outdoor spaces that incorporate nature and open-ended materials
- Ensure materials are safe, well-maintained, and encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration
Partner with Families
- Maintain open, positive communication with families
- Share weekly classroom updates and observations via the ProCare app
- Participate in family meetings, events, and conferences (twice per year)
- Make children’s learning visible and invite family involvement

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour

Experience:
- early childhood classroom: 1 year (Preferred)
- Preschool: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
