Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners during their foundational years. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes early childhood development and literacy education. Your enthusiasm for working with children will help foster curiosity, social skills, and a love for learning. The ideal candidate will bring classroom management expertise, experience in curriculum development, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles to support each child's unique growth journey. We are also a christian school, teaching the love of Jesus to these children to help set them with a great foundation to successful lives that honor our savior!

Duties

  • Design and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards.
  • Foster a positive classroom atmosphere through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques.
  • Provide individualized support for children requiring special education or early intervention services to ensure inclusive learning experiences.
  • Engage children in activities that promote literacy, math skills, physical education, and overall developmental milestones.
  • Monitor and assess student progress through observations and standardized testing, adjusting instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to support child welfare and ensure a cohesive educational experience.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to active learning and toddler care.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings, with a minimum of one year of classroom experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and sensory activities.
  • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community resources.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods for young learners.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
