Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and nurturing Preschool Teacher / Early Childhood Educator to support children during their most important developmental years. This role focuses on early childhood education, child development, classroom management, and social-emotional learning in a safe, engaging, and structured preschool environment.

You will help children build foundational skills in literacy, math readiness, language development, motor skills, and social skills through play-based and developmentally appropriate learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a classroom rooted in care, ensuring a safe, nurturing early learning environment for preschool and pre-K children
• Demonstrate respect by supporting individualized learning, diverse abilities, and inclusive early childhood education practices
• Provide consistent support using positive behavior guidance and effective classroom management strategies
• Bring enthusiasm to daily lesson plans, including hands-on, play-based, and interactive learning activities
• Promote growth and child development across cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical domains
• Develop and implement early childhood curriculum aligned with preschool readiness standards
• Build strong family partnerships through communication, parent engagement, and progress updates
• Use observation and assessment to support developmental milestones and school readiness
• Apply early intervention strategies and support children with diverse learning needs

Qualifications

• Experience in a preschool, daycare, childcare center, or early childhood education setting preferred
• Knowledge of child development, early learning standards, and classroom management techniques
• Ability to design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool / pre-K learners
• Strong communication skills with children, parents, and early childhood education teams
• Commitment to care, respect, support, enthusiasm, and growth in daily teaching practice
• Coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or related field preferred
