Preschool Teacher

Serendipity Children's Center is looking to add a strong, experienced preschool/pre-k teacher to our staff to work with 3-5 year olds. This position is full time Monday through Friday (shift will be either 7-4, 8-5 or 9 to 6 depending on needs of center).

Responsibilities include:
Curriculum & Lesson Planning
Interacting with children
Meeting daily needs of children
Completing developmental assessments
Communicating with families
Working as a part of a team

Required Skills:
2+ years working in child care
CPR & First Aid Certified
Cleared Portable Background check with DCYF (upon hire is acceptable)
TB Test (upon hire is acceptable)
30 Hour basic STARS (upon hire is acceptable)

Preferred Skills:
Minimum of 12 college credits in ECE or related field or CDA or AA in ECE

2+ years of lead teacher experience in a classroom
