Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Duties
- Support the development and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Facilitate daily activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development in children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills to create an effective learning environment.
- First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
