Duties
- Design and implement creative lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Facilitate a positive classroom atmosphere through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies.
- Support children’s developmental milestones by applying knowledge of childhood development and early intervention techniques.
- Foster inclusive learning environments by working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations.
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to discuss progress, challenges, and strategies for supporting each child's growth.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Use standardized testing tools and assessment methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
Requirements
- Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or preschool settings, including toddler care and daycare environments.
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Certification or degree in early childhood education or a related field is a plus
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, literacy education, math instruction, and teaching physical education.
