Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early childhood development journey in our fun-loving environment . In this vital role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for early education will help children develop essential literacy, math, and motor skills while fostering a love for learning. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s lives during their formative years through dynamic lesson planning, compassionate guidance, and effective classroom management. This position would be for 2 to 3 times a week and possibly more days/hours as a substitute could be needed for your team members.
Duties
- Creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, numbers, gross and fine motor skills to support childhood development with attention to their learning styles.
- Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment by applying behavior management techniques and promoting positive social interactions among children.
- Conduct classroom activities that develop language skills, fine and gross motor skills, and cognitive abilities aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Monitor individual progress through assessments to tailor and support each child's growth effectively.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and progress updates regularly.
- Maintain organized classroom records, including lesson plans, attendance logs, and child welfare documentation, ensuring compliance with childcare regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and special education accommodations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Familiarity with toddler care practices and childcare regulations to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
Pay: $23.00 - $26.50 per hour
