Preschool Teacher

At Rainbow Kids Academy, we focus on giving children a safe and educational environment as they learn to advance in their basic studies, such as language, math, science, and arts, while also being encouraged to explore with new friends and to become more confident in themselves.

At Rainbow Kids Academy, you will:

An applicant who Rainbows will have the following:

· Must be at least 18 years of age with a HS diploma or GED

· Minimum 12 units in Early Childhood Education/Child Development or an Associate Teacher Permit (or higher) *

4 core classes:

*Child development

*Curriculum

*Child family & Community

*Infant/Toddler

Applicants must enjoy working in the preschool environment, be friendly, nurturing, and outgoing with excellent communication skills.

· At least 6 months – 1 year of experience working with children in a licensed setting preferred

· Ability to clear fingerprints/background check

*May qualify for a position if not all education requirements are met

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification or 12 ECE Units (Required)
