Preschool Teacher

Job Summary

Duties

• Design and implement developmentally appropriate curriculam that incorporates literacy education, math, to support early childhood education standards.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management.
• Monitor and assess each child's progress through observations, standardized testing where applicable, and regular documentation to inform individualized instruction.
• Foster strong communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s development, milestones, and classroom activities.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently, including toddler care routines, potty training support, and daily schedules.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and participate in ongoing professional development focused on childhood development and early intervention strategies.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is helpful but not required; classroom management skills are essential.
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including literacy education, math fundamentals, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Certification or training in childhood development or early childhood education is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
