Preschool Teacher

Teachers must be accountable foremost to God and possess a love for children. Applicant must be a high school graduate of at least 21 years of age, have at least 1 year experience as a lead teacher, and at least 2 years satisfactory experience working with children. Teachers are responsible for providing the best possible learning environment for their students, striving to empower each child to meet age-appropriate goals through a creative and developmentally appropriate curriculum, the daily planning and execution of all classroom activities in keeping with the philosophy of the preschool program, daily room readiness and preparation of program materials, the safety of the children, the care and orderliness of the classrooms, preparing and implementing daily lesson plans, maintaining a classroom that is attractive and engaging to the children, maintaining a classroom budget, and communicating effectively with children, parents, and co-workers. Part-time position, Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
