Preschool Teacher

We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of young children.

Qualifications Required

• Must have completed and hold current Florida DCF 45-Hour Child Care Training credentials. CDA a plus
• Previous experience working in a licensed childcare center or preschool setting.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
• Must pass all required background screening and meet state licensing requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Procare childcare management software.
• Knowledge of or experience implementing the Frog Street curriculum.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate learning activities and lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Supervise children at all times and ensure their health and safety.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Observe and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
• Follow all state licensing regulations and center policies.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time Available (9:00-6:00)

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
