Duties

• Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
• Plan and execute engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles, including special education needs and early intervention strategies.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children.
• Provide attentive toddler care and classroom supervision, maintaining high standards of childcare and child welfare.
• Utilize classroom management skills to organize activities that promote social skills, cooperation, and independence among students.
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists to support each child's unique educational journey and well-being.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, tutoring, and teaching physical education tailored for preschool-aged children.
• Familiarity with working with children with special needs or in early intervention programs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Proven classroom experience in daycare or private school settings with a focus on preschool education.
• Ability to implement Montessori methods or other innovative teaching approaches such as literacy education or math-focused activities.
