Preschool Teacher

The Goddard School, an early childhood education center, is located in Wilmington, DE, and is currently seeking a qualified Lead Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with Goddard's industry-leading Quality Assurance standards
• Writing and implementing their lesson plans based on Delaware state and The Goddard Developmental Guidelines
• Creating a positive learning environment in their classroom
• Establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
• An associates degree or CDA credential
• A nurturing teaching style and team player attitude
• TECE 1 and TECE 2
• Early Childhood Teacher Certificate from Department of Education
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and communication skills
