Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and Reggio Inspired practices.
• Create engaging lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, cater to the whole child approach, and aligns with NC foundations.
• Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management, social skills, and emotional well-being among children.
• Foster a safe, nurturing environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence in young learners.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, milestones, and any behavioral or developmental concerns.
• Work with team teachers to maintain a clean organized classroom that acts as the third teacher.

Requirements

• Experience working with children preferably in a preschool or daycare setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children.
• A qualifying criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
