Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education methods.
  • Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior management and supports children’s emotional well-being.
  • Facilitate hands-on learning activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and critical thinking tailored to toddlers and preschool-aged children.
  • Assess individual progress through observations and standardized testing to inform lesson planning and support early intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate developmental milestones, behavioral concerns, and classroom updates effectively.
  • Manage classroom routines and behavior management strategies to maintain an organized and respectful learning space

Required

  • High School Diploma
  • 18 years old or older
  • Pass a Background check
  • CDA or ECE is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
  • Experience in curriculum development across various domains such as literacy, math, physical education, and childcare practices.
  • Proven classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including toddlers and preschoolers.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and community partners.
  • Experience in childcare or private school settings is preferred; certification in early childhood education highly valued.
