Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration. The Preschool Teacher will work closely with children aged 2 to 5 years, guiding their development in various areas including literacy, math, and social skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that align with educational standards.
- Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's development at home.
- Provide care and supervision for children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Keeping the classroom and school equipment clean and tidy.
- Ensuring all students' hygiene needs are met.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children.
- MIn. of 12 ECE units and enrolled in more classes
- ECE students welcome to apply
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to create a conducive learning environment.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies for children with special needs.
- Ability to teach literacy, math, and physical education effectively within the preschool setting.
- Experience working with diverse groups of students in various educational settings including daycare, private schools, or Montessori environments.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Reliable. Able to work independently and with a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
