Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Preschool Teacher to lead our 3-year-old classroom. This role requires strong classroom management, curriculum implementation, and the ability to independently care for up to 9 children while maintaining licensing ratios and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care to all children in the classroom
• Supervise and manage up to 9 children independently while maintaining proper ratios
• Implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with center standards
• Plan and carry out daily activities including circle time, art, sensory play, and outdoor time
• Support and actively participate in potty training routines (frequent bathroom schedules, accidents, communication with families)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Accurately log meals, activities, and daily updates in Procare
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Follow all licensing regulations and center policies

Requirements

• Experience working with preschool-aged children (3 years old preferred)
• Must be comfortable being alone in a classroom with up to 9 children
• Strong understanding of potty training techniques and routines
• Ability to create and follow structured daily schedules and curriculum plans
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must pass all required background checks and licensing requirements (Nevada)
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (children, equipment, supplies)
• Frequently sit on the floor, bend, squat, and stand for extended periods
• Ability to actively engage with children at their level throughout the day
• Comfortable assisting children with toileting and hygiene needs
