Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging curriculum activities that promote literacy education, creativity, and growth in a classroom setting. The Preschool Teacher will also work closely with children with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere that supports all students' learning needs.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and learning.
- Provide individualized attention to students, including those with disabilities, to support their unique learning requirements.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to education.
- Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas including literacy skills and social interactions.
- Organize classroom activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other educators in curriculum development to enhance the educational experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience working in preschool or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education.
- Ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families.
- Experience working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of literacy education strategies and curriculum development is beneficial.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children are essential qualities for success in this role.
