POSITION:
Preschool Teacher Assistant

LOCATION:
Heartland Early Education

TERM:

• 40 hours per week
• 7:30AM to 4PM with 30 minute unpaid break
• During the school-year (August through May)

STARTING PAY:

• $16.70/hr (High School Diploma, no experience required)
• $17.74/hr (Must have CDA credential)
• Additional Benefits: Pay increases and a $500 incentive upon obtaining CDA.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain a Child Development Associate (credential) with pay increase and $500 incentive upon obtaining CDA.
• Experience working in a preschool setting is preferred
• Passion for working with preschool children is essential!

DUTIES:

You will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of preschool children. Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Assisting children with daily activities
• Providing direction and guidance to foster a positive learning environment
• Supporting teachers in facilitating age-appropriate educational activities and ensuring a safe, nurturing space for children to grow and learn.
