At ACDS, Inc., our mission is to support children with developmental disabilities through high-quality education and compassionate care. Our Pelham-based preschool, ACDS Pelham, is seeking an enthusiastic, caring Teacher Assistant to support children ages 3 to 5 in our special education classrooms.

• Monday–Friday, 8:15 AM – 3:00 PM (31.25 hours/week)

What You’ll Do

• Assist with daily routines including feeding, toileting, diapering, and play-based learning
• Help maintain a warm, engaging, and supportive classroom setting
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement individualized educational goals
• Encourage communication, independence, and developmental progress in young children

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Prior experience working with children required; experience with children with disabilities is highly valued
• Preferred Skills: ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) experience a plus
• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Other Requirements: Minimum 1 year of childcare or classroom experience; strong passion for working with young learners with special needs
