Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and positive behavior management.
- Conduct lesson planning tailored to individual student needs, including special education and early intervention strategies.
- Foster effective communication with children to promote language skills, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Manage classroom activities efficiently to ensure smooth daily routines while maintaining high standards of childcare and safety.
- Support children’s learning through tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and hands-on activities that enhance cognitive growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress, address behavioral challenges, and celebrate milestones in childhood development.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
- Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and behavior management techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
- Familiarity with working with students who require special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Previous private school or daycare experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for nurturing young learners is key.
