Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support holistic childhood development.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and positive behavior management.
• Conduct lesson planning tailored to individual student needs, including special education and early intervention strategies.
• Foster effective communication with children to promote language skills, social skills, and emotional well-being.
• Manage classroom activities efficiently to ensure smooth daily routines while maintaining high standards of childcare and safety.
• Support children’s learning through tutoring, standardized testing preparation, and hands-on activities that enhance cognitive growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor progress, address behavioral challenges, and celebrate milestones in childhood development.

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential.
• Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and behavior management techniques.
• Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Familiarity with working with students who require special education or early intervention services is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Previous private school or daycare experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for nurturing young learners is key.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
