Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher with ECE units to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and classroom management, along with experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing environment that promotes learning, socialization, and development for preschool-aged students. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive educational experience for all children.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to preschool learners, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods as appropriate
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that support early intervention, behavior management, and developmental milestones
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children
- Monitor and assess student progress through observations and standardized testing when applicable
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote child welfare and effective communication
- Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of student development and classroom activities
- Support classroom management by establishing routines and behavioral expectations aligned with best practices in early childhood education
- Maintain a clean classroom daily
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, including Montessori and early intervention approaches
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education needs, behavior management strategies, and literacy education is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities and backgrounds
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators
- Experience working in private schools or childcare centers is advantageous
Candidates must hold ECE units or higher qualifications relevant to early childhood education. A genuine passion for teaching young children combined with a professional approach will ensure success in this rewarding role.
Pay: $24.40 - $31.00 per hour
