Preschool Teacher (EEC qualified)

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team this September. We are looking for someone that can work 9-4:00 M-F.

The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children. This role involves implementing engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth and learning. We have created our own curriculum which is a great resource and tool!

Responsibilities

• Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes early childhood education principles.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
• Foster strong and supporting communication with parents.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Support the other LS staff members.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
• A commitment to child welfare and fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
