Preschool Teacher Floater - Healdsburg and Santa Rosa classrooms

Preschool Teacher Floater- full time with excellent benefits - at the YWCA Sonoma County child care centers:

• The Preschool Teacher - Floater position work location is at the Healdsburg, CA classroom with occasional work days at the Santa Rosa, CA classroom

Minimum Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Education (per college transcript)
• 12 units ECE/CD including core courses
• or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year experience working in a childcare facility
• Currently possess an Associate Teacher Permit or Teacher Permit or be qualified to apply for and be granted the Associate Teacher or Teacher permit

Conditions of Hire:

• Ability to pass agency criminal background check, TB test and physical.
• Valid driver’s license, current automobile insurance and immunization records to influenza, pertussis, and measles.
• ECE and work experience to apply for an Associate Teacher Permit

Job Description Summary: Working in collaboration with classroom teaching staff, the Preschool Teacher and Floating Preschool Teacher is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of a high-quality early childhood education program. This role focuses on promoting the physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development of children through developmentally appropriate practices. The Floating Teacher serves across two sites (Santa Rosa, and Healdsburg) working in two program classrooms (preschool and infant/toddler), providing flexible coverage (open, close and breaks) and consistent instructional support. This position is supervised by the Site Supervisor and Director of Childcare Services.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
