About us

Del Rosa Christian Preschool is a non-profit Christian preschool in San Bernardino, CA. Our goal is to teach preschool children in a Christian environment, and have a loving and family-friendly atmosphere for our families, as well as our staff!.

We are looking for a teacher to join our team and provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our students. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching preschool and will be able to create engaging activities that promote learning and development. The successful candidate will also be able to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, work collaboratively with others, maintain a positive attitude, and be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

• Available to teach Mon-Fri mornings
• Available to close 2-3x/week (we close at 6pm)
• Minimum of 12 ECE/CD units
• Experience with preschool children
• 18yrs or older
• Pass background check
• Pass a physical & TB test
• Current immunizations
• Comfortable teaching in a Christian preschool
• Have or obtain current 1st Aid/CPR
• Have or obtain current Mandated Reporter Training

Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, educational, and nurturing Christian environment for children.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that are appropriate for the age and level of the children.
• Encourage children to explore and learn through play and other activities.
• Observe and document each child's progress.
• Communicate with parents about their child's development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Assist in keeping facility and playground safe and clean.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
