Summit Kids Academy is a well-respected childcare center located in Lake Worth, Fl. Dedicated to providing quality early childhood education, interactive learning and memorable experiences featuring use of an outdoor classroom, we are looking for highly motivated teachers for various classes to inspire and be part of a great team. Responsibilities:

• Deliver curriculum founded on the center's philosophies while following classroom rules and regulations
• Create positive learning environments including resources based on early education-directed learning
• Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior
• Build good, open communication with children, families and staff
• Observe and record children's growth, development and behavior using electronic portfolios
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
• Help develop teaching goals for the center and its teachers
• Undertake administrative tasks as required

You will need:

• DCF 45 hour course.
• Experience working in a classroom and teacher's setting
• Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A good level of computer literacy
• Current First Aid/CPR certification
• Local and federal background clearance
• Clean medical certificate
