PRESCHOOL TEACHER FULL TIME

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and fully qualified Preschool Teacher to join our Christian Based early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes ECE fundamentals as well as focusing on JESUS. Your expertise in curriculum development, classroom management, and child welfare, as well as an evident foundation in the Christian faith, are highly desired. We like to make sure that each child's unique needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. As a key contributor to our educational community, you will inspire curiosity, foster social-emotional growth, and lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning and faith in JESUS.

Responsibilities

• Promote and Display a love for JESUS and the Christian faith.
• Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy education, math, physical education, social emotional, etc.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while maintaining high standards of behavior management.
• Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor individual progress, adapt teaching strategies, and support children with their educational needs.
• Manage classroom routines efficiently, ensuring smooth transitions between activities and fostering positive behavior.
• Incorporate child welfare best practices to promote physical safety, emotional well-being, and social skills development in all aspects of care.

Requirements

• Fully qualified preschool teacher with 12 completed ECE units.
• Proven classroom experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and curriculum development.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and children’s support teams.
• Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate math, literacy, and social-emotional learning components.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
