Pay: $19.00–$24.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Riverside Montessori Academy is seeking a warm, dedicated, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are a well-established Montessori school that has been serving Riverside families for over 40 years. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about early childhood development, values creating meaningful relationships with children and families, and enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive environment.

No Montessori experience is required. We welcome applicants from traditional preschool settings and are happy to train the right candidate in Montessori principles and classroom practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Support children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development.
• Guide children through daily classroom routines and activities.
• Observe and document student progress.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and preparedness.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety requirements.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 ECE units required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Previous preschool teaching experience preferred.
• Montessori experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Passion for helping young children learn, grow, and thrive.
