Preschool Teacher in Fairfield CA

Qualifications

• Experience: Early childhood education: 3 years (Required)
• 12 ECE Units and two units
• Ability to commute/relocate: Fairfield, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
• ECE units in Child Development, Early Childhood Education
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working at Infant -Preschool center
• Current pediatric CPR/First Aid certification
• Creative, flexible, organized, and able to prioritize with superior time management skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and people skills to interact with staff, children, and families
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Child Care Software applications

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee the center to ensure quality and compliant services and outcomes.
• Implement and maintain State licensing regulations for the Center; and participate in audits as necessary.
• Handle enrollment tours and be available to clients and teachers when needed
• Ensure all children are developmentally assessed and that an educational plan is developed and implemented with an age-appropriate curriculum that meets the individual needs of the children enrolled.
• Ensure the center, rooms, and play areas are well maintained in a clean, orderly, healthy, and safe condition at all times. Monitors and expedites any work orders for the center, rooms, and play areas as needed.

Conduct parent/teacher conferences and provide information to parents concerning their children's development, abilities, and areas of concern; explains program procedures and classroom activities as requested.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
