About Us

Located in the Northwest Hills community of Austin, Leaps N Bounds Preschool is a family-focused, 4-star accredited early childhood center serving children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We create a warm, welcoming environment that feels like a second home—for both children and staff. Position Overview

We’re seeking professional, energetic, and nurturing individuals to join our team as Infant, Toddler, or Preschool Teachers. If you love to sing, dance, and create engaging, fun-filled days for young children, you’ll thrive here.

This position requires flexibility in your availability until 6:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain appropriate teacher-to-student ratios
• Collaborate with co-teachers to implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
• Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
• Follow daily routines while adapting to children’s needs
• Assist with classroom documentation and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with Texas Minimum Standards, Texas Rising Star, DFPS, and LNB guidelines
• Attend required trainings (including some outside regular hours)
• Support your team—jump in where needed and contribute to a positive environment

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to pass an FBI background check
• Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs
• A genuine love for working with young children
• Strong reliability and teamwork mindset
• Must be flexible in your availability until 6:00 PM
• Previous childcare experience is a plus—but not required (we provide paid training!)
