Preschool Teacher (min 2 yrs exp and 12 ECE Units)

Goomer Academy, located in San Jose's Evergreen area, is a preschool center committed to early childhood education for children aged 12 months to 6 yrs. General Requirements:

• Minimum 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in licensed childcare facility.
• Must meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency (Title 22) including immunization, health screening, finger-printing and background check
• Skills in communication, collaboration, and classroom management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for children's development.
• Manage classroom safety and hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Organize snack times, naps, and activities.
• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
