Preschool Teacher – Mariposa Bilingual School

Mariposa Bilingual School is a Spanish immersion preschool serving children ages 2–5. Our teaching approach blends play-based learning with language immersion, giving teachers the tools and time to do what they do best—connect with children and help them thrive. With low student–teacher ratios and a modern, spacious facility, teaching here is as rewarding for you as it is for your students.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a positive, bilingual classroom that inspires exploration and creativity.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children and families.
• Track growth through observations and tailor learning to each child.
• Support toddlers’ social, emotional, and physical development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain a safe, organized classroom.

What We’re Looking For

• 12 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development from an accredited institution.
• Or 6 semester units with continued education.
• Assistant positions available with fewer units.
• Experience working with children in education or caregiving.
• Strong communication skills with kids, families, and peers.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

The Details

• Compensation: $28/hour
• Schedule: Full-time.
