We are especially seeking Spanish-speaking and Mandarin/Chinese-speaking educators who can help create a multilingual learning environment and support children from diverse backgrounds. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ lives every day!
Duties
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy, language development (Spanish or Chinese), physical education, and STEAM curriculum.
- Integrate bilingual instruction and cultural elements into daily activities to support language acquisition and global awareness.
- Manage classroom routines and behavior using effective strategies to ensure a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Collaborate with families—especially bilingual households—to communicate children’s progress and support individual developmental needs.
- Conduct assessments and observations to tailor instruction and support each child’s growth.
- Lead classroom management efforts that promote social-emotional development, inclusivity, and positive behavior.
- Supervise assistant teachers and volunteers, providing guidance in curriculum, instruction, and classroom management.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and childcare policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese (required or strongly preferred).
- Experience working with young children, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Strong background in early childhood curriculum development and bilingual education.
- Knowledge of language development strategies, special education principles, and early intervention.
- Effective classroom management skills that foster an inclusive, multicultural learning environment.
- Experience with assessments and early learning evaluation tools.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse families and team members.
- Experience in daycare, private school, or Montessori settings is highly desirable.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
