Duties
- Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in preschool-aged children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence
- Utilize curriculum development strategies aligned with early childhood education standards and best practices
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
- Support children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists
- Conduct assessments of children’s progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental milestones
- Engage in ongoing communication with parents and guardians to share updates on their child’s growth and address any concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, with a strong understanding of childhood development principles
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies, special education practices, and literacy education techniques
- Familiarity with classroom management tools, lesson planning, and curriculum development including Montessori or other specialized methods
- Ability to work effectively with toddlers and young children while demonstrating patience and empathy
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists effectively
- Experience in classroom experience management, behavior management techniques, and childcare best practices
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; relevant coursework in childhood development is advantageous

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
