A New Early Learning Program Opening Soon.

Parkside Community Preschool is thrilled to announce the opening of Parkside Community Preschool-South, a brand‑new school currently under construction within the Ollie Court low‑income housing development. This innovative site represents a first‑of‑its‑kind collaboration between Parkside, Early Childhood CARES, and Head Start, bringing together inclusive early learning, family support, and community partnership under one roof.

We are building something truly special—and we’re looking for passionate educators and support staff to join us.

We are hiring for multiple roles, including:

  • Lead Preschool Teachers
  • Lead Toddler Teachers
  • Support Teachers
  • Substitutes & Float Teachers
  • Cook / Kitchen Lead

Parkside Community Preschool has been serving families in Eugene since 1967. Our mission centers on providing high‑quality, affordable, inclusive early learning, with a strong emphasis on supporting low‑income families and children with developmental delays or disabilities. Our partnership with EC CARES and Head Start at this new location expands our ability to serve children in a truly integrated, community‑based model.

Ideal candidates bring:

  • A deep love for early childhood education
  • Experience working with toddlers or preschoolers
  • At least 1 year of experience in an early learning setting with toddlers and/or preschoolers
  • Step 6 or higher in the Oregon Registry, or equivalent education
  • Registered in the Oregon Child Care Background Registry
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Completion of all state‑required trainings
  • A commitment to inclusion, equity, and responsive caregiving
  • Collaboration skills and a positive, team‑centered mindset
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for helping launch a brand‑new program
  • Early Childhood Special Education experience is a plus

Job Type: Full-time
