Preschool Teachers Needed

Immediate need for the following:

Infant Teacher - Full Time, must have atleast 1 year of experience in a childcare facility.

Pre-School Teacher (3 year/4 year olds) - Full Time, must have atleast 1 year of experience in a childcare facility.

Assistant - Hours vary/flexible- must have atleast 6 months of experience in a childcare facility.

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their development through engaging activities and individualized attention. The Preschool Teacher will play a crucial role in promoting early learning and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and provide updates on children's progress.
• Monitor and assess children's development, providing early intervention as needed to support individual learning needs.
• Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
• Incorporate various teaching methods including Montessori principles to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support child welfare and special education needs when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable. Minimum of 6 months experience is required.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children’s developmental needs. Experience with children with behavior difficulties.
• Familiarity with child welfare policies and best practices in daycare settings.
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
• Understanding of basic math concepts suitable for preschool-aged children.
• Experience with classroom management and supervision of multiple children.
