We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The Preschool Teacher will play a crucial role in promoting early learning and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships and provide updates on children's progress.
- Monitor and assess children's development, providing early intervention as needed to support individual learning needs.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere.
- Incorporate various teaching methods including Montessori principles to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support child welfare and special education needs when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in childcare or preschool settings is highly desirable. Minimum of 6 months experience is required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies to support children’s developmental needs. Experience with children with behavior difficulties.
- Familiarity with child welfare policies and best practices in daycare settings.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
- Understanding of basic math concepts suitable for preschool-aged children.
- Experience with classroom management and supervision of multiple children.
