Preschool Toddler Teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a warm, patient, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom of 2- 3 year old children. This role focuses on creating a positive early learning experience through play-based activities, social interaction, and age-appropriate skill development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities along with your co teacher and our Curriculum Specialist.
• Create a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
• Support each child's social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Encourage language development through reading, singing, and daily conversation
• Maintain consistent daily routines and transitions
• Monitor and document children’s progress and milestones
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child’s development
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other staff members and participate in monthly team meetings

Experience

• Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and colleagues.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
