Preschool/Daycare Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging daily activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts.
• Provide attentive toddler care, and preschool instruction tailored to each child's age and individual needs.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid procedure.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement, behavior management techniques, and consistent routines.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare, classroom management, and curriculum development.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or similar setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required. Must take a drug test and have a physical before the start of work.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a caring and nurturing environment.
• Strong communication skills to engage with children, parents, and team members professionally.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
