Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills tailored to preschool and toddler development stages
- Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Engage children in hands-on activities that support early intervention, special education needs, and childhood development milestones
- Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support during daily routines
- Utilize classroom experience to facilitate learning through lesson planning, storytelling, tutoring, and standardized testing preparations when applicable
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration while adhering to childcare standards and daycare regulations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles including Montessori methods and literacy education techniques
- Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a focus on toddler care and classroom management
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum content that incorporates math, physical education, and other core subjects
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students’ families
- Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
