Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills tailored to preschool and toddler development stages
• Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Engage children in hands-on activities that support early intervention, special education needs, and childhood development milestones
• Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and emotional support during daily routines
• Utilize classroom experience to facilitate learning through lesson planning, storytelling, tutoring, and standardized testing preparations when applicable
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration while adhering to childcare standards and daycare regulations

Skills

• Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles including Montessori methods and literacy education techniques
• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a focus on toddler care and classroom management
• Ability to develop engaging curriculum content that incorporates math, physical education, and other core subjects
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and students’ families
• Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques
• Skilled in lesson planning tailored to diverse learning needs and developmental stages
• Demonstrated understanding of childhood development theories and child welfare standards
