Position Summary

The President serves as the senior operational leader for Odyssey Services Corporation's Arizona operations and is responsible for driving organizational performance, growth, profitability, compliance, employee engagement, and service excellence.

This executive will lead a team of Director-level professionals and oversee multiple service locations across the state while ensuring exceptional outcomes for the individuals we serve.

This position requires a highly visible leader capable of balancing mission-driven decision-making with strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Growth

  • Develop and execute long-term growth strategies that expand services, increase market presence, and strengthen organizational impact.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for geographic expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, and service diversification.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Partner closely with the CEO to execute strategic priorities and organizational initiatives.

Operational Excellence

  • Provide executive oversight for all Arizona operations.
  • Ensure high-quality service delivery across all programs and locations.
  • Establish measurable performance standards and accountability systems.
  • Utilize data and analytics to improve operational effectiveness and client outcomes.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with DDD, HCBS, Vocational Rehabilitation, and all regulatory requirements.

Financial Management

  • Assume full P&L responsibility for operations exceeding $30 million in annual revenue.
  • Drive consistent revenue growth and profitability while maintaining high service quality.
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize organizational performance.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop Director-level leaders.
  • Build a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Human Resources to attract, develop, and retain top talent.
  • Strengthen succession planning and leadership development efforts across the organization.
  • Champion employee engagement, safety, and retention initiatives.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

  • Serve as a key ambassador for Odyssey within Arizona communities.
  • Build strong relationships with referral sources, government agencies, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Represent the organization in professional associations, public forums, and regulatory meetings.
  • Promote Odyssey's mission and advocate for individuals receiving services.

Executive Leadership

  • Participate in Board and Executive Leadership meetings.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support organizational growth and sustainability.
  • Ensure alignment between organizational mission, strategic objectives, and operational execution.
  • Maintain accountability for organizational performance and mission-driven outcomes.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience with at least 5 years in an executive-level role.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, multi-site operations.
  • Proven experience overseeing organizations with annual revenues exceeding $30 million.
  • Documented track record of driving consistent growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
  • Experience leading Director-level and senior leadership teams.
  • Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning expertise.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration, Human Services, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Experience within developmental disabilities, behavioral health, vocational rehabilitation, HCBS, DDD, healthcare, or human services environments.
  • Experience leading organizations through significant growth, acquisitions, or geographic expansion.

  • Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and vehicle registration.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Arizona and occasionally outside the state.
  • Ability to participate in community events, executive meetings, and organizational functions as needed.
