Press Brake Mechanic/Operator

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

**Salary is Based on knowledge & experience**

Press Brake:

• Must be able to understand precision sheet metal requirements.
• Operating Press Brakes to fabricate sheet metal.
• Operator machine maintenance.
• Maintain Brake tooling in neat & organized order to assist with the flow of production.
• Responsible for the quality of parts leaving your machine. Inspect your own work before & after 1st piece inspections approval, also during the production run.
• Capable of handling Calipers/Veneers, protractors, squares for inspecting purposes.

Position Requirements:

• 3+ years of brake press experience (desired)
• High school graduate (preferred), ability to comprehend basic mathematics, read & write.
• Must be able to lay out parts by hand with an understanding of bend allowances utilizing various material thicknesses, radius, lengths, and types of materials.
• Proficient at reading mechanical drawings.
• Willing to train if no prior experience, but must be able to understand the task at hand.
