Clad4orm Limited is looking to hire a light sheet metal press brake operator for an immediate start.

No prior work experience is required and applications are open to those aged 18 and above - this job could be the perfect opportunity for someone looking to get themselves on the job ladder within construction!

The ideal candidate would either be committed to learning a new skill and progressing within the company, or has previous press brake and manufacturing experience.

The job involves manual handling and production of light metal goods for customers, using guillotines and press brakes and is based in Buckley, North Wales.

Hours of work are 7am-4.30pm, Monday-Friday. Any overtime is paid in full. Weekend work is available paid at time and a half.

Rates of pay dependent on age/experience:
Aged 20+: £12.75+ per hour | Aged 17-20: £11.00+ per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting & folding machines (guillotines, press brakes, pan brakes, etc.) to cut, bend and form light sheet metal.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Measure, mark, and layout materials accurately before fabrication.
• Ensure all folded components meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery and tools.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Identify and report material defects or equipment malfunctions.

It is essential you have:

• UK Driving License, unless you live locally and are able to get to work for 7am. (no car is required, vans are provided through the business for use during business hours).
• You are aged 18+ (for health and safety requirements)
• You can read and write spoken English
• You have a basic maths ability

It is preferential you have:

• Forklift truck driving experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From £10.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Buckley CH7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Materials handling: 1 year (preferred)
• Warehouse : 1 year (preferred)
