Looking for Welding and Press Brake Operators to join our team

About the Job

We are a Sheet Metal Union manufacturing company specializing in trash and linen chute systems for commerical and residential buildings looking for reliable and detail oriented welders and press brake operators to join our team. This role involves working with sheet metal and fabricated components to produce chute systems according to specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

For Welders:

Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and gavanneal steel

Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings

Assemble chute sections and related components

Inspect welds to ensure structrual integrity and quality

Maintain a clean and organized work area

For Press Brake Operators:

Set up and operate press brake machines

Read and Interpret blueprints

Perform accurate bends on sheet metal components

Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards

Assist with material handling and workflow

Qualifications:

Previous experience needed

Ability to read and understand blueprints

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to lift up to 75lbs and stand for extended periods

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Basic math and measurement skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly pay.

Monday thru Friday 6am- 2:30pm

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
